I learn from mistakes and those mistakes often are more helpful than a success right out of the box. I used my Dremel tool to cut the cutout on this box, but I really don't like it for that purpose. It is just too easy to slip or overcut an edge in my opinion. Using this spare block of scrap wood means I don't have to play about with the much larger neck as I check the fit and all for this CBG. To strengthen the box, I'll cut some supports to go inside it for both ends of the box. They will cradle the neck inside the box and add support.
