Oil markers...I'll give that a try sometime. I like to use paint pens/markers but have found that some colors will bleed when you apply stain or poly over them.
Yep, burned the outlines and colored in with a Sharpie permanent marker. I have found that by burning the outline the ink or paint is less likely to bleed onto the areas where you don't want it to go.

oil markers ( for writting of cds ) are great too . works on metal too :ie; screw heads , etc .
and will not smudge at all .. like sharpies can sometimes do on some surfaces .
