This one worked out better. I spent a lot more time on the neck. The neck back is rounded somewhat, I measured and cut fret markings for a 24 1/2" scale, which fits the CBG much better in my opinion.Foolishly, I got 'hold of some frets and hammered 'em in. I chewed up the neck in the process of filing the frets smooth (smooth enough anyway). If you want frets, be patient and read as much as you can on websites and here on CBN.com.Not shown, I got out my hillbilly woodburner (old soldering iron) and burnt in some markers on the edge of the neck so I could see where I was going (i'll take a picture eventually)
