I cut a slot at the back end of the box for a black corian insert. I am also going to use black volume controls and strap buttons.

    Wes, I think a 6 string would be awesome with this box. I was not comfortable with that though and all I had was some poplar to use. I had a piece of oak but it was warped. That is one reason I am thinking that this box is destined to be a 3 stringer. The box is really thin but sturdy with a little added bracing. Thanks for the nice feedback!!

    Alright Travis! Great job. I have a box like that and wanna make a 4 or 6 string of it.
