This is my second effort at a trapeze tailpiece made from a cheap stainless steel fork. The tines refused to curl on this one properly, too, so this time I just cut 'em off with a hacksaw, filed 'em smooth, and flipped the fork over so the rounded ends of the spaces between tines would grab the string ball ends. It was waaaayyy easier than curling the tines. This is going on my son's build, No. 2.
