"Nick's Sticks Hack Amp #1"

This amp has a volume and gain control, and when cranked on high gain is loud and mean. It is much louder and "crunchier" than the chip and amp kit purchased "elsewhere".

Thanks, Wes. But very much more challenging and difficult to build, and it took two failed tries before I could successfully complete one! :)
