I like the sound of this build so much that I am sending it as a gift to one of my all time favourite Canadian Blues Performers, Rita Chiarelli. I have been a fan of her's for ever and deceided that I couldn't find any better way to show her my appreciation for all her dedication to us through her music! I'm also trying to get her to come as a performer for this years Vancouver Island Music Festival.
LOL...no need to feel chastised Tom! I've found through trial and error that the longer stretch gives a little more bottom end to the sound and less twang. Most of my builds are over 25" in action length. If the length gets too long though, you are right and the lower register tunings sound weak and too buzzy. It's a great education learning how this all works and relates!
Thanks for the comments...the intonation is great and I can find most of the harmonic notes too right where they should be. My camera is too old and doesn't do sound with the video. A new camera is on the "Must Have" list!
