Well done Hank, you've got yourself a really nice guitar there, looks great! I recently finished my first build too and isn't it a great moment when you finally get to string up! I hope you have loads of fun and enjoyment with it and plenty of help and encouragement on here learning to play, thanks to the generosity and kindness of the good folks of The Nation. The main thing is to have fun and if you set yourself small achievable goals and can find, say, fifteen minutes every day to practice rather than one big session once a week, you'll surprise yourself how quickly you'll progress. It's the repetition that's key and helps your fingers remember what to do. Have patience, give yourself time, and always keep in mind it's the journey that matters, not the destination. Enjoy!
