This is my first pickup....I just scrounged 5 little neodymium magnets....glued them with CA glue in a stack...and wrapped some 32 AWG wire around it...maybe a 1000+ wrappings....and encased it in padouk. I had know idea if it would work....not enough "e's" in sweeeeeeeeet to describe the warm raspy sound with gain cranked up...bliss, baby...bliss.

Thanks Ted...I owe the idea to you! You're pickups are perfecto, man...this one is a bastard rip-off...but sounds fine....I didn't think the 32 AWG wire would work, but it picks up the sound great. No measurements yet...I'm guessing to take the resistance...wouldn't have a clue what the numbers mean, but I'll post what I get.
