I though I'd come up with something here - Turns out everyone does something like this.It's difficult for me to remember to slide to the fret instead of between frets. These markers are at the fret (more or less). In this first attempt, I made a mark with the tip of a brad point drill bit, then touched it with a soldering iron to make it easier to see.
