  I like the recessed jack. I almost had to do that with mine. I like the look so much, I might go back and do that anyway. Simple and elegant looking build.

  Thanks for the kind words. Tailpiece is 1/2 of an old "bulldog" clip for holding papers together. I do not know how old, but could be from the 40's or 50's, I've had it for 30 years or so. I'll post a closer shot of it.
