    thanks to everyone for all the positive feedback. i really appreciate it. to answer joes comment i routed a shallow channel in the neck then drilled out the back of the fretboard and voila, instant lights. thanks again, ive seen some amazing guitars on this site and im just glad to be part of it.

    One additional reason to plug it in or keep batteries handy! Ideal for low light playing conditions.
