Just laying on neck and not glued into place

I still have to round off the neck edges, but this piece was lain on to see what it would look like. It does not go into the box, but just butts up against it. I may add another quarter inch piece to it and glue and sand. This is at the neck area and I have not added anything to the tail piece to match it.
