  • Nice Job. Anything works to get it done. I used my old bathroom vanity and mounted router in some table top material from work. Congrats on you new homemade toy.

  • Just thought I'd share my new/old neck makin shaper table. I found this 1960's counter top in a barn I was tearin down. It's perfectly flat & plenty long so I mounted a fixed base skill router to an 1/8'' steel plate thats recessed flush. I got a few round over bits from Grizzly Industrial as they are good quality & pretty cheap. Since it's wide open on the bottom it's easy to adjust. Overall I spent around $130.00 bucks & am happy I didn't get a "real" shaper table as this also hold my other sanders in my small shop. Eventually I'll mount it to the wall on hinges so it'll flip up outa the way. Thanks & take care-Tony T
