I cleaned all my hardware and knobs with lacquer thinner after I lightly sanded and worked each piece with steel-wool. Then I bathed it all in the gun blueing, giving it a tarnished, older appearance instead of all silvery and shiny-new.
I know what you did..but how did you do it???
