There is a writer in one of our fishing magazines who goes uses the name "master baiter"????? He probably thinks it's funny, but I just reckon it's because he is.......
There was a fishing tackle shop in Plymouth when I used to be a truck driver and it was called 'MASTER BAITS'! The owner told me that he was forever running out of tide time tables because everyone wanted one at 25 pence a pop just to show their mates!
So now, you're FISHING for compliments 'eh? Well here's your first catch, GOOD very good, I'm a keen beach fisherman myself mate! I caught a nice bass last year and told my grandson it weighed 5 pounds, he said 'how do you know? you never weighed it?' I said 'didn't have to, every fish carries it's own scales'!
