Heelcap

I decided to model this heelcap after a recent "regular" acoustic guitar purchase, and oriented the grains perpendicular to the grains in the neck. I like how it turned out.

    Really beautiful work.  I'd love to make a neck like that.  I think I read that the fingerboard is rose wood.  How about the rest of the neck? Is that 3 pieces of wood?
