The body is made from a 1/4 inch thin plank, in some very dark colored wood, it's only oiled with a clear oil, the neck is the same kind of wood, but just the edge of a 2 inch thick plank, my plan was to use clear epoxy to make it nice and round on the backside of the neck, but the difference in thickness of the neck forced me to create a fretboard about 5/8 inch thick, and then round the back of the neck. This pictures covers a little "has to do" thing, I still haven't made a cover for the electronics yet.
