Found this old Gramophone Box very tatty and the spring had gone and soundbox..But its nice and big to try out the handle approach for a bridge..Maybe the turntable could have a revolving speaker attached and a motor...hmmm now theres a thought.Anyone know of a cheap wireless transmitter that runs on batteries??Or how do you do a revolving contacts for speaker conections??Might try using the side arm to pickup on the strings, similar to my phono guitar...Nice large bodied acoustic sound...

What like this!... yes it works but could do with being in a box... and velcro to hold the radio down so it could go faster without falling off !!

Maybe a small FM radio on the turntable and an Ipod FM sender with batteries and a overdiven pre-amp??
hmmmmm....
Nice build!
It's more or less like my design. I'd love to hear the sound!
As for wireless transmitter -- you may try to use an FM transmitter (used to connect audio devices with your car radio). Like here.
