Thanks to all for the comments. I am new to this site and new to this profession. I don`t have a lot of tools so I used a hand drill, jig saw and a 4" hand grinder to form the neck. That is all you need. With the brackets and 1"sq wood braces you are around $15. I have to say -I look at the members on this site and am amazed at the talent. All you folks that have commented - Thank You !!! I will post it again after I can get outside were I can put a finish on the wood.
Thanks for the inside view. It is a thing of beauty! I just tried your headstock style on the present build. Framing the neck wood with another type of wood. Thanks for the idea Doug.
