Scale is 24-1/4". Neck is 1-1/4 by 1-1/4 tapered in thickness to 1 inch at the head out of old growth Southern Yellow Pine from an old beam. Strum area is 3/4". Strum area was scarfed out with a circular saw. Very dangerous for the unskilled. If you use this method be sure to clamp it down and secure your loose clothing and hair.... and never do this naked. The rooster could become a hen.
