Thanks Nelson. Built this after watching some videos of Andy Mackie........a super nice man who built a lot of these for children in his area. I have used the string arrangement on several builds.......just roll pins inserted through the solid tail with counter-sunk holes on the back for the string balls to set in. Simple, easy and cheap........just make sure the slot opening in the pin faces toward the back.
Love them strumsticks! Looks like a D size. The holes in thr bottom are interesting but even with strings with metal ends, I don't understand how you maintain the tension without pulling 'em back through.
