This is my latest cigar box diddly bow, inspired by the C.B. Gitty cigar box diddly bow kit. Note the design is experimental. Here we have a stick on the box instrument. My attempt to have a stick in the box one was a flop. The problem was, the holes meant to accomodate the wood dowel neck were not properly aligned. Just fastening the neck directly to the box by way of wood scerws seemed like the best option. As for the nut and bridge, this time around, they are both small (about 3/4 inch) screw eyes. The string is a 0.009 steel string. Despite the intial "botch up," I think this diddly bow has a pretty decent sound!
