Diddley Tank

Tank from a lawn tractor. Some scrap copper pipe a spare faucet and muffler clamp bridge. inside is an old hand held microphone so it can be plugged in. String thru the cap. Best thing about it is it can't catch on fire!

    Heres a video. Not the greatest of players. The microphone inside wasn't working too great so I used a pickup that I made out of a small relay switch coil and magnet that just stuck to the side of the tank.

  • Tighten the tuner's action by removing the bonnet and overloading it with packing.

The old mic inside isn't really working that great, a lot of feedback. But I do have a homemade pickup that I think will work great with this. Thanks again and stay tuned for the video
