I am attempting new designs. I get bored to easy with the same design all the time so I push myself to come up with unique design ideas that work. For instance I have found that moving a design to the center of the guitar increases volume and richness, rather than the F holes out towards the sides. I guess it has something to do with the flat design of the box and the way sound waves travel in it; rather than a carved top guitar or round bottom violin where sound deflection is at an angle.
