Worked fine, but you could only tune up not down..

you have to push on strings to go down and then retune up again, needs a roller or nylon bush to help slip...

There' s a vid of me playing it somewhere on here?

Just one question: Didn't you get a lot of tension on the strings when redirecting them around the bolt below?

I tried to build a similar 4 string guitar and the strings were always breaking.

Or do you have any secret to solve the problem?

Thanks King Uke.. yup its a horn and it kinda works too... the bridge is hollow brass tube that allowss the sound down the mini phono horn
