AWESOME VETERAN'S DAY!This was my first Veteran's Day celebration, in 2 years, as I missed out on the last two being hospitalized and disabled. Well, this year I made up for it in spades. As a veteran, I decided to join the American Legion and spent the morning hanging out with my fellow comrades, sharing stories and experiences. As a kid, I was a member of "The Sons of Legion," which is the youth branch of the American Legion (if your Dad or Grandfather served), and represented my local legion post at "Boy's State" (a Nationwide educational program, teaching government and politics to high school students, sponsored by The Legion), as well. I was proud to serve, and most proud to be a part of such a great organization... The American Legion.
