Oblique angle shot for this guitar. I'll retrofit this one with a little port in the back to replace the potentiometer if necessary. The medium acoustic strings sound loud and strong. I may try light acoustic strings to see if I can keep that sound while being easier on my wimpy, non-callused, city-boy fingertips. Looking for those Goldilocks strings.

  • These guitars are great slide monsters. And later if you feel the need you can rework it down to finger pickin. I like reworking some of my guits. Coming at them with new energy is fun.
  • You are right about that action, Dave. I'd need to remove that oak bridge, unstick the piezo from the hot glue there, and take an eighth to a quarter inch off the thickness. Making a wine bottle slide is way easier! :D
  • lower action will help. Looks like you're up there. Or just go slide...
