I've been wanting to do a reso and have had the Lowe cone for a while (http://www.cigarboxnation.com/profile/OldLowe). I made the cover from 0.040" brass sheet stock. The biscuit is walnut. The neck is poplar, with Early American stain. The French polish job (thanks to Josh Gayou for the instructions and the inspiration!) makes it look like Tiger's Eye; the chatoyancy is a cool effect I tried to capture in the pictures but it needs to be seen in real life. The headstock has a walnut veneer. This CBG has a full, robust sound, not at all tinny.
