I'm an art major and this is my first build. It was a final project for a Book Arts class. We had to choose a theme for all of our work in that class. My theme was "Music from the POV of the Player & Listener". My idea to build a CBG was approved but it had to have a "book element" incorporated into it. And I had to build my own box. I could not re-purpose an existing box. I bought a kit from Sam Kindley. I put the neck together and then built my box around it. I created a logo & a back-story for my fictitious company, "From Trash to Treasure" that made custom cigar boxes from bamboo and other re-claimed wood. The pull-out side panel book element is an accordion folded sheet of paper that has a brief history CBGs and info on my company.
