Yeah I have been a woodworker for 30 odd years and the old 'measure twice cut once' adage is always there in the back of my mind, what I love about this project is that slight deviations from perfection shouldn't be disastrous! I hear what you say about the bridge, I was much more careful with that and the nut to make the spacings as even as I could manage.
Yeah the three holes are not perfectly spaced, I should have drilled a smaller diameter hole first, the poplar I am using is quite soft and the drill tends to wander if you are not careful. I left it as is since I figure it ain't going to make a huge difference to the way it sounds - we will see!
