I'm going to use a rod piezo under the bridge, and a disk piezo, made into a neck pickup by putting it under a bottle cap, on the top of the lid. I will use a balance/blend pot to set the amount of volume to be mixed in the blend for each pickup.The rod piezo will give me a feedback free signal, but the disk piezo will give me all that raw sonic energy from a typical cigar box guitar. What's nice with the balance/blend control is that I can turn down the disk piezo when it starts to run away with feedback while blending its signal with the rod piezo for a feed-back free outcome.
