Right. The wood seems to mellow the tone some. The photo shows the frame before I set the neck into it. The neck is notched thru the top piece and butt joined to the back. Glad it helped!
I like that. I just screw the rim of the lid to the bottom of the can around the edges and let it hang there. I then worry about it breaking off, so I will try you solution. The wood may improve the tone and cut down on the vibrations. Thanks for showing you build.
