Blind Gee 002 3

Added a back pickup and 3 way switch (a.k.a. the gear shift) to Blind Gee #002. Single coil. No noisier than a Tele but I might use a humbucker instead next time.Audio at myspace.com/blindgeeguitars

    Thanks! It was sold today but I have an order for another the same. This time I'm putting a humbucker in it and getting the paint done by a pro. I has no idea single coils are so noisy! I took it to a guitar tech to make sure I hadn't built noise into it. He said it was better than good. A/B'd it with a Squire Tele in the shop and if anything, mine was quieter. The lipstick at the neck is lovely and smooth, the back pup has bite (tamed by tone control if required). The blend setting has a sound all its owm. Pretty happy since it was my second build and I know nothing about wiring and my solder isn't going to win any beauty competitions. You can hear this guitar at myspace.com/blindgeeguitars
