Those blocks serve also as a material where I can drive screws that hold the tin top into. Maybe next time I'll use the tin upside down, so the top will be integral part of the sides, and the bottom can be closed or open.
Nice structure inside of your tin. I've used blocks on the neck through and tail, but not on the sides. Looks strong!
