I hope I was not giving anyone the opinion that I made everything on my first CBG, as I do try to credit those who I get parts from or ideas from. I don't want to take credit when it is not due, so sorry if I happened to give that impression on anything I have posted. I am making some parts at this point, but not the neck on this go round. Later I plan to try to make one for another CBG I wish to make, but I'll have to get some more shop tools and learn a bit more before I am ready to do the complete head stock and neck.
I didn't build this myself, as I simply don't have the tools or skill necessary at the moment. I ordered off Ebay from Chillen guitars. Actually, I have ordered two from them and found them to be great with customer service. I chose the red oak, but they have other woods available.
Can you tell me how you made the headstock? I'm trying to get a little more artistic with mine, and I'm not sure about the best way to do a nice headstock (like yours!).
