Piezo is sandwiched in a couple of trimmings from neck leftovers with hot glue. Originally I was going to place it under the top by the bridge but after hearing how good it sounded without a pickup, I tried placing it in a few positions with double stick tape to see where it would least affect the sound and it ended up on the neck. Placing it on the top dampened the tone and volume of this box quite a bit more than I wanted.

I figured out the same thing. Keep the sound board free and it sounds better - I think the neck close to the bridge is the best location. - Very nice build !! Bill
