Nice fairly deep box, has a decent sound to it though the first string is a bit weak. I'm suspecting that the bridge saddle is too big and soaking up the sound...have to play with that. Always liked those Rickenbacker sound holes so now I have them.

    I have found that using an .011 first string improved the sound and playability. I now use .011 .023 and .032 on my three strings and the improvement in sound was dramatic.
    On the Honey Tone amp, if it gets low on battery voltage it will start messing up and you will think its broken or blown. Just a heads up. Touchy little critters but fun and decent portable noise. I'm still looking for bette myelf. VERY nice first build - make noise now !!!
