Plans are easy, you do a basic build but cut a big hole, wait until your dog (or in my case, cat) is not looking and take his bowl, stick it in the box. Chunk of wood for the bridge, move it around a little to see where the best resonance is, tighten the strings and start playing.
Hardest part was securing the neck so it didn't warp under tension because the bowl takes up a lot of box real estate.
Was thinking I'd make some adjustments to the bridge, if I do I'll get some pictures of the internal structure and post them here
