I looked and didn't see anything so here i go Can I use wire bigger than 42 gauge wire to wind pickups? would 200ft of 30 gauge work? One more question were is the best/cheapest place to get 42 guage wire? Thanks

Hi,
Your discussion on a sound hole pick up is closed for some reason - one thought is you would need to check the width of E to e string at the soundhole as acoustics can have a bigger width than an electric so these strings my lie off the pickup and not pick up so well.
