Another suggestion; check out how Tiny Guitars and Darren Brown do things. They are two of the best builders. Lots of the guitars with pretty photos have design and playing flaws. Those two guys are guy to follow. Lots of videos showing off their guitars too.
You are into an addictive hobby. I keep trying to quit and something comes along.... Working on Jack Daniels tin 3 string and a 4 string mando. The Jack looks good, but I never know for sure until its strung up and played.
