Help w/ Dimensions!!!

I have a cigar box that is 2-1/2" x 6-1/2" x 6-1/4" and I'm worried that this may be too small. Since it is so small, I was wondering if I should just make a cigar box ukelele and get a bigger sized box for the guitar. Any thoughts or suggestions wou
