  I used to love Okoboji and went there some growing up - caught a lot of bullhead and bluegills and a drum or two.  Liked Arnolds park of course.  

   

  It's a good trip if you have not been there for a while.   It seems to have become a big money place and party place.   Not to my liking.   I think late August to earl September is the time to go.  The kids are back in school and it is not so packed with people. 

   

  The old wood roller coaster was rehabbed a few years back.  It is a lot of fun, but gives your body a beating!

  Hi Don,

    I have never been to Estherville.   I know a guy from there, Steve Finn, but think he would be a bit older than you.   I've been to Okoboji quite a few times and Emmetsburg.  I always get those two E towns confused.
