Hello,
I have started a CBN group entitled, "How to Play CBG" It is my hope and intention to encourage the "Wealth of Talent" here on the Nation to share their knowledge and skill to further the CBG movement. Please consider contributing an instructional "video" link to this group. If you are a viewer seeking instruction, please feel free to write. If you have any suggestions or know other players who you think may want to post instructional "video" links, please contact me. Thank you for your interest and support, Keni Lee
Next I think I am gonna do a 4 string , I got some birdseye maple and will likely glue a strip of mahogany or walnut in the middle of the neck as a skunk stripe. I was thinking of using quarter inch mahogony as a fingerboard , unless I find something else dense and dark in work! This is all for the neck of course.
Thanks , I stuck a mic inside then ran it through my little pignose amp. Then I recorded it on my H2 digital recorder in wav format then encoded it into mp3 format. Not as hard as it sounds. The intonation on the CBG is incredible for a 3 string with a deer antler nut and bridge!
Have fun & be careful, looking forward to checking out the boxes you have coming in! Maple I feel is better plus I have a whole garage full of it, You can take as much as you like just come by.
