Boy, those builds look invitingly bashable! Got your note...I'm in Western Mass now, but I'll likely swing through RI every few months --- I have a best bud in Jamestown and may be through there more often now that I'm closer. Been playing only my six-strings lately, but have been getting the CBG bug again and have about five builds in my head waiting to get out! Will let you know if/when I'll be in RI for more than a day or two --- best wishes for the New Year. ET
BTW, I used a three wire stereo (female) input jack. That way the circuit is only "ON" when a plug is inserted. Otherwise, the battery may run out even when your aren't using it. Good luck...
Thanks. I have to admit I got part way through my second one and when I figured out how to do a scarf joint I put it aside. Moved into a Martin 000-18 (kit guitar) that I should have finished in about two months.
I've attached a pdf of the pre-amp schematic. With the mess in my workshop I surprised myself by finding it so quickly! I think I wired it up in less than 45 minutes.
