  You can get cheap tuners from CBGitty.com. He advertises on this site. $7.50 for a set of six. I use them all the time.

  Actually, check out the videos by Uncle Crow, he builds a really basic CBG. Watch for the part where he makes the tuners from eye bolts.

  Check out the beginners videos I have posted on my page here. The fretting can come later, but the basic neck layout is something you may want to take a look at.
