Song projects

Anybody working on songs together? I know there are ways to do this I just haven't tried but I'm sure I could get my head around it. Got a computer, got a loop pedal etc.

  • I`d be in to that . I`ve done it before , I played with a band from Germany , but  never left Scotland , there are a couple of free progs on the net that allow you to send data files (big Mp3s) etc , we just sent each other the mix as was and the others contributed their part (mixed in in your own studio) and sent it back for the ol yea or nay , cant for the life of me mind the name of the site that lets you do it , but I`m sure google would reveal it . I`d be happy to give it a go . Where do you hail from by the way and what have you in mind ,

  • I have few good songs can't get down to my likening my phone not the best recording device
    • I'd like to hear them and view the lyrics, maybe try my own cover to add to it's. I've posted two song lyrics on group (The Blues Exchange Discussions) they need editing and line repairs, projects in the work. Anyway I'll be returning to the music soon, getting ready for the mini fest that will be coming to St. Louis.

                                                                 (bragging song)

      I've been looked at

      I've been sized up

      Never talk back

      No surprises

      What you got here

Is a man on the border

      Take me on

Then you've filled a tall order

      Cuz it's the real deal

Let me tell you that's a fact

      It's the kinda deal

To raise the hair on your back

      A man of few words

      To get the job done

Can bust it in the morning

Till the setting of the sun

      The swift and the strong

      There's plenty them around

Here's the old and the wise

      Staring back into your eyes

      Cuz it's the real deal

Let me tell you that's a fact

      It's the kinda deal

To raise the hair on your back

If you're here to get a lesson

Then a lesson you shall have

If you wake up in the morning

Thank your stars and be glad

You could say I've been there

You could say I've done that

      Try to understand son

      It's a matter of fact

I have handed you a deal

Cuz I laid it on the line

Play it smart and think it over

Trust me this is not the time

      Cuz I'm the real deal

Let me tell you that's a fact

      It's the kinda deal

To raise the hair on your back
