Hi, Im Jason Johnson from Eugene Oregon. Ive been building cigar box guitars for about the last year and a half. I usually do 3 or 4 string guitars with single coil pickups in them. Ive done some things like putting 1 bass guitar string and 2 guitar strings....little heavier tunings. Ive got some videos up on my page.....some of me playing a one man band setup, a couple clips of my band Mudpuppy. The bands a 2 piece blues/punk group. Me and a drummer. Ive played guitar for 10 years and started on 6 string before I pickuped up a cbg. It was a great transition, I play things on 3 strings that Id never figure out with 6.
