newbie help

hi everyone

i stumbled across CBGs 2 weeks ago never seen or heard of them before but thought they were great, built one the following week and absolutly over the moon with it, now i want to build a MD, but require a little info/help.

is there a rough size of the box which can be used, i have one,(not a cigar box) but not sure if its too large.

    Hi stav

    Lots of information on this site.   Just enter "Dulcimer" in the search bar.  Lots if info.  What size is your box.  MD are pretty forgiving.

      followed your advice with the search thanks, loads of good tips, info and inspiration, i've decided that the box i have is too deep (around 4") to sit comfortably on my lap so will have to look else where or build a box.
