The box of this Custom Electric-Acoustic Resonator Lap Steel Guitar is 100+ yr. old wood from a pre-1900's Dominion Organ & Piano Co. pump organ. In addition, the acoustic side wall is the original "effects" control dowel plate...it shows the organ was built in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada.
Headstock is rock maple...control plates, tailpiece & pickup trim are figured maple. Fingerboard is 1/2" thick rosewood and bridge is rosewood too.
Single zebra humbucker w/ volume & tone pots. (1MEG ohm w/ 0.02 cap. on tone pot)
Tail end of box is hinged and secured w/ locking hasp...for access to string ferrules/changing strings.
Heavy chrome tele-style control knobs and tele-style cupped jack plate.
